UGBS Holds Staff Durbar and End of Year Party
The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) recently hosted a Staff Durbar and End-of-Year Party on 18th December 2024 at the R.S. Amegashie Hall. The event brought together faculty and staff members to celebrate the year’s achievements and discuss strategies for improving academic excellence as well as the welfare of staffs.
Mr. Yaw Tsen Yeboah, the Assistant Registrar gave a welcome address and moderated the event. Prof. Justice Bawole, Dean of UGBS expressed gratitude to staff and faculty members for their hard work and dedication. He also congratulated staff and faculty members who attained promotion this year.
Prof. Bawole addressed issues discussed on welfare, privileges of staff and faculty members and services to students and alumni to enhance efficiency. The Dean encourage all present to contribute to building the welfare fund to support each other when needed. He mentioned that the school will be contributing GHC100, 000 every year into the welfare fund to grow it. Prof. Bawole further urged staff and faculty members to commit their best in delivering world-class business education. The durbar was crowned with the annual end-of-year party with music, drinks and food at the UGBS Graduate School.
